Clive is Chief Financial Officer and a founding member of an early stage medical device company, Magnetecs Corporation , which is a designer and manufacturer of a robotic catheter guidance control and imaging system for minimally invasive medical procedures.
He has been involved as a financial & strategic business advisor and is a minority shareholder in a Deep Water Open Ocean Aquaculture project, Open Blue Sea Farms , a cobia fish farm in Panama. By using innovative aquapod technology Open Blue Sea Farms has been able to move fish farming to the open sea, allowing for the sale of large quantities of sushi grade fish without the further depletion of the ocean's sea life. This is not only an environmentally responsible answer to the global overfishing crisis but also a viable and sustainable way to meet the growing demand for high quality and healthy fish.
He started, grew and sold an innovative and profitable gelato and sorbet distribution business, B. Atkins & Co. Distinctive Ice Creams. The company sources and distributes the highest quality artisan made ice creams to top restaurants, hotels and country clubs and was sold in 2004
He has been an Adjunct Professor at Stony Brook University College of Business where he taught Managerial Accounting and Financial Decision Making to MBA students.
